Three Table Tennis Academy Malta players will be heading to Sweden next month for a four-week training camp.

Andrew Gambina, Andrea Portelli and James Camilleri will form part of the TTEX Table Tennis Expert training camp to be staged on the Swedish west coast. They will have the opportunity to practise with some of the best youth players from the region in six-hour training sessions held regularly during the course of the training programme.

The head coach at the camp will be Swedish coach Peter Nilsson, a close associate of Malta champion Mario Genovese and the table tennis academy.

Various instructors will be assisting Nilsson among whom Chinese duo He Ping and Ruh Shi Ping, Mikael Talinsson and other top coaches from the host country.

The academy has already prepared their summer pro-gramme, ranging from beginners to advanced starters.

There will be various foreign coaches visiting the academy this summer as well.
