The sum was collected during the RTK4 Charities Open Day that is organised annually at the home in Siggiewi on New Year’s Day by Radio RTK.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech visited the home last weekend to meet residents and care workers.

He also found time to chat with youths training for the volleyball marathon that will raise funds for the home. Bishop Grech said it is heartening to see so many of the younger generation engaging in voluntary work.
