Gozo Diocese’s donation to Siġġiewi Home

The Gozo Diocese presented a cheque for €20,000 to Fr Martin Micallef, Director of Dar tal-Providenza. The sum was collected during the RTK4 Charities Open Day that is organised annually at the Home in Siġġiewi on New Year’s Day by Radio RTK.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech recently visited the Home and met the residents. care workers and the administration.

Mgr Grech also met the youths who are training and preparing for the Volleyball Marathon that is being organised as a fundraiser for the Home on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Mgr Grech was accompanied by Fr Michael Borg, director of the office for the Promotion of the Human Person of the Diocese of Gozo, and his personal assistant Fr Eddie Zammit.
