U-16 tournament at TCK

For the seventh consecutive year, Tennis Club Kordin (TCK), in conjunction with the Malta Tennis Federation, will be hosting an international U-16 tournament at their home base.

The number of entries this year is 168 players, 92 boys and 76 girls. They hail from 29 different countries among which Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, Italy and Germany.

Malta will be represented by Bernard Cassar Torregiani, who is currently ranked 666th in Europe, Matthew Cassar Torregiani, no.899, Raphael Sammut no.1,192, Mark Schranz, Zach Ciappara, Rebecca McCarthy, no.1,225, Maria Giorgia Farrugia Sacco, no.1,997, Alexia Cassar, no.1,998, and Katrina Sammut, no.1,999.

The qualifying rounds will be played on July 7 and 8.

The Main Draw gets under-way on July 9 with the final scheduled for July 14.
