CALASCIONE. On June 16, JOHN, aged 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Taunton, Somerset. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Nelly, née De Bie, his children, Jo, Piers and Ben, his brothers Michael, Christopher and Peter, his sister Nina Lightfoot, his grandchildren and his many friends in England and Malta. The funeral will take place in Taunton. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CAMILLERI. On June 20, JOHN of Sliema, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss, his beloved wife Carmen, his adored children, Marisa, Joseph and his partner Carmen, his granddaughter Juliana and her husband Pierre and his great grandson Andrew, his sister Mary, widow of Robert, Rita, widow of Michael, and Cettina and her husband Lino, his brother-in-law Giusi Cachia and his wife Rose, his nephews and nieces amongst whom Josette, Tania and Victor, Tonella, Tania and Martin and their respective spouses, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St. Gregory Parish Church, Sliema where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza and Hospice Movement would be greatly appreciated. Lord Grant him eternal rest.

MAZZOLA. On June 20, HELEN, widow of Carmelo, aged 81, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children Mario and his wife Cynthia, Anna and her husband Ronald and her grandchildren Ian, Raisa and Gianella. She also leaves to mourn her loss her sister Mary, her brother-in-law Joe, her sisters-in-law Yolanda, Gabriella and Nucci, as well as her nephews, nieces and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15 a.m. for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be held at 8.45 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CASSAR. On June 20, at St Catherine Home, Attard, JOHN of Ta’ Xbiex, passed away peacefully at the age of 95, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved daughter Doris, wife of Lino Farrugia, his dearest granddaughter Victoria and her fiancé Andrew Aquilina, his sister Annie, his brother Francis and his wife Annie and Helen, widow of his brother Charles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, amongst whom members of the Legion of Mary. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Ta’ Xbiex parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9 a.m., followed by burial at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Rev. Mother and nuns, especially Sr Maggie and Sr Adalgisia, and carers at St Catherine Home, for their care, love and dedication.

DARMANIN – LOLLY. On the 10th anniversary of his demise. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Myrtle, his children Tonio and Marie, Theresa, Ian and Crysta, and his grandchildren. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said today at 6.30 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville.

FENECH – MARIA STELLA. On the 19th anniversary of her demise. Fondly remembered by her daughter Bice, grandchildren Stanley, Pierre, Marie Louise, Antoine, their respective spouses and children.
