French police stormed a Toulouse bank where a self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda militant took hostages, freeing two remaining hostages unharmed and arresting the gunman, police sources said.

The sources said the gunman was wounded in the assault, which began at 4.45 p.m. local time (1445 GMT), when AFP correspondents at the scene reported hearing three gunshots and after the gunman had already released two other hostages.
