Minister of failures Austin Gatt is sending out thousands of e-mails to each Tom, Dick and Harry – including Labour MPs – appealing to recipients to act as canvassaers for GonziPN in order to “close the gap on the Labour Party”.

Dr Gatt is making it obvious that he is the leader of the triumvirate running GonziPN’s electoral campaign at the same time that he is being paid by Maltese and Gozitan taxpayers to serve Malta and not to act as GonziPN’s election campaign “supremo”.

I am confident that thousands who have received the e-mails from Dr Gatt and may have been considering not voting at all and who remember the many fiascos committed by this minister, which fiascos have cost this country and its people a lot of money and a lot more frustration and anger, will instead decide to act as canvassers for the Labour Party. Surely, they now realise that if GonziPN manages to scrape an electoral victory, Dr Gatt will be the one who gets most of the credit! In addition, he will, undoubtedly, be given a lot more power to wreak havoc wherever he gets involved!

This is why the words he used in his message, “We cannot win without you”, will actually turn out “GonziPN cannot win with Austin Gatt” because voters know that a vote for Dr Gonzi means a vote for Dr Gatt.
