Emirates Airline started operating its non-stop, daily service between Dubai and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on June 4.

The Vietnam service is the airline’s eighth route launch of 2012.

Emirates now operates flights to 13 cities in 10 countries in the Far East; opening up increasingly popular tourist destinations to the airline’s six continent network.

Emirates is marketing Ho Chi Minh City as the ideal gateway to explore Vietnam.

The Dubai-based airline uses an Airbus 330-200 on the Hi Chi Minh route, with 27 business class seats and 251 economy class seats.

Emirates flight EK 390 departs Dubai International Airport at 9.15 a.m. and arrives at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 7.35 p.m. The return flight EK 391 departs at 9.10 p.m. and arrives in Dubai at 1.05 a.m. the following day.

Over the next three months, Emirates will launch a further three destinations: Barcelona, Lisbon and Washington, DC.

The airline operates flights on a daily schedule from Malta to Dubai via Larnaka, Cyprus.
