Wheelchair dancers claim another good result overseas

Wheelchair dancers Steven Fenech and Mandy Ghio placed second in the Open Dutch Amateur League Wheelchair Championships in Assen,the Netherlands.

Sixteen couples took part in what proved to be a closely fought contest.

Mr Fenech and Ms Ghio are now preparing to go to England for the Manchester Grand Prix at the end of this month, where they will defend the titles they won last year.

Meanwhile, the Malta Wheelchair Dancesport Association (MWDA) is planning to hold a training camp in November after the Malta Open Dance Spectacular. Sponsors for the championships are needed as the event is growing, with participants from 10 countries already confirmed.
