11 a.m. The President is presented with a publication by the Malta Photographic Society on its 50th anniversary at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11.30 a.m. He receives a courtesy call from Alexandre Georges, who is crossing the Mediterranean in a kayak to raise awareness about immigration at San Anton Palace.

2 p.m. He presides over the meeting for the Commission of the Administration of Justice at the Palace, Valletta.

Tuesday

11 a.m. The President presides over the Papa Ġwanni XXIII Premju għat-Tjubija award at the Palace, Valletta.

1 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the winner of the Papa Ġwanni XXIII Premju għat-Tjubija award at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

10 a.m. Mrs Abela receives a courtesy call from Josette Ciappara at San Anton Palace.

Noon.She presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

1 p.m. The President attends lunch hosted by chief executive officer, HSBC Malta, Mark Watkinson, at the HSBC head office in Valletta.

Thursday

8.45 a.m. The President attends a working breakfast organised by the Fondation de Malte at the Nunciature in Rabat.

11 a.m. He is interviewed by the Russian news agency Itar-Tass at San Anton Palace.

Friday

4 p.m. The President presides over the August Moon Ball committee meeting at San Anton Palace.

7 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over the opening of an exhibition entitled Active Aging by Margaret and Joe Ellul Vincenti in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund at San Anton Palace.
