Specialist sports equipment boost for Inspire

Procter and Gamble, official sponsors of the upcoming London Olympics, has launched a promotion to help disabled people take part in sports.

A donation will be made to Inspire with each purchase of a range of Procter and Gamble products, including Ariel, Lenor, Head and Shoulders, Pampers, Old Spice and Gillette.

Participating outlets will also contribute a donation of their own.

Funds raised will go towards the purchase of specialised sports equipment for Inspire. Currently, a number of bicycles are being adapted for children and adults with disabilities.

Those wishing to take part in the Paralympics and other competitions will now have a lightweight hand cycle to train on.

Inspire is using its knowledge of adapted sports to integrate as many people as possible through specially designed programmes in conjunction with the Malta Paralympic Committee, the Kunsill Malti Għall-iSport and sponsorship partners, including VJ Salomone, distributors of Procter and Gamble products.
