Intercontinental Malta has donated €7,000 to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group.

The kitchen team, led by executive chef Adrian Xuereb, raised €3,000 of the total sum by preparing and selling 1,000 Easter figolli.

A further €4,000 was raised by employees during their annual staff summer and Christmas parties.

“Puttinu Cares has been carefully chosen to mirror and promote the core values of the Intercontinental Hotels Group,” said Intercontinental Malta’s human resources director David Vella.

Puttinu Cares is a non-governmental, non profit-making organisation that aims to improve the environment in which child cancer patients are treated. It also offers support to child cancer patients and their families.
