Bordeaux AOC wine, Mouton Cadet, will be available at a number of the European Tour’s leading golf championships after the company signed a seven-year deal to become the official wine supplier to the tour.

Produced by the family-owned French wine company Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA, Mouton Cadet, founded in 1930, achieves annual sales of 12 million bottles, with 78 per cent of that number exported to 150 countries, including Malta.

Mouton Cadet will also be served during other events, including the tour’s flagship event, the recent BMW PGA Championship, the Irish Open, the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, the Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex and the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.

Mouton Cadet is imported and distributed by Charles Grech of Valley Road, Birkirkara, tel: 2144 4400.
