New Louis Erard watch collection

Swiss watch firm Louis Erard recently launched a new watch family for women called Romance.

With a delicate round face and slim steel bracelets or leather straps, the 36 models in the collection are marked by their classical and elegant style.

The watches come in three diameters (30, 33 or 36 millimetres) and there are 12 variations for each size.

Based on quartz technology, the Romance watches come in either a steel or a pink gold PVD-treated case.

The dial may be mother-of-pearl or adorned with a guilloché motif, with the brand’s signature Roman nume­rals or elegant diamonds. Each creation has a gem-set counterpart lending it a more prestigious dimension.

The hours and minutes are recurrent features, but expressed in a variety of ways. A date window at six o’clock adds a final function touch.

To add a touch of sportiness, the 36mm watches have had a chronograph function included, meaning they can be used as stopwatches.
