Students visit MITA
San Andrea Senior School’s Grade 11 computing class recently visited the Malta Information Technology Agency at St Venera to enable the students to see first-hand how a large ICT company operates.
MITA’s Networks Operation Centre provides the government’s various IT requirements, including those of health centres, police stations, local councils, schools and education departments, as well as Maltese embassies overseas.
The visit was part of an outreach programme organised by MITA through the eSkills Alliance and the school’s guidance department.
