Congratulations to the Limestone Heritage on their recent 10th anniversary.

The Open Day, offered free of charge, was enjoyed by thousands who flocked to Siġġiewi.

Ten years ago, when this very special visitor attraction first opened its doors, I doubt the owning Baldacchino family would have envisaged its current-day success, especially in educating the numerous school groups in the origins of this country’s precious building stone.

Well done to them for their far-sightedness and thank you for such an enjoyable Open Day!
