Wedding Anniversary

Mr JOHN GRECH and Miss FRIDA VELLA

The marriage between JOHN and FRIDA took place on June 1, 1969, at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun. Congratulations and best wishes for your future from your sons Stephen, his wife Maria, granddaughters Andrea, Rachelle and Gillian, and Chris, his wife Catherine and grandsons Kyle and Kayne.

Obituary

BUTTIGIEG de PIRO. On May 29, ANTHONY, the Most Illustrious and Noble Marquis Buttigieg de Piro and Marquis de Piro, K.St.J., ERK, GCLJ(J), KMLJ, F.IoD., MIM, Commander St John Rescue Corps (Ret.), aged 79, passed away peacefully at St James Hospital, Sliema, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Joseph and his wife Corinne, his nieces and nephews, Victoria-Jane and Roman Krejci, David and Priscilla, Christopher Simpson, Dominic Simpson and Nicholas and Karyn Simpson, his grandnephews and grandnieces, his cousin Ray Fenech Gasan and Marie Louise, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 8.45 a.m. at Naxxar parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, or Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On May 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINA, of St Julians, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leave to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters Rose and her husband Luke Galea, Sr Margaret Zammit, Yvonne, wife of the late brother John, Edward and his wife Doris, Michael and his wife Marian, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Memorial Service

A memorial service for ELIZABETH TURNER, née de Trafford, will be said tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. at the Mdina Cathedral and afterwards at Palazzo de Piro. Her sons Francis and Michael welcome all family and friends who are able to attend.
