Bishop Markus Medhin of the Jimma Diocese in Ethiopia (pictured, left) recently visited Gozo and celebrated Mass with Moviment Ġesù fil-Proxxmu director Mgr Ġorġ Grima at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary.

Mgr Medhin, together with the missionary movement Ġesù fil-Proxxmu, will be building a complex for people with disability in Jimma, which will be dedicated to Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu.

After Mass, sanctuary rector Fr Gerald Buhagiar presented a large picture of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu to be hung at the new complex.
