Veronica Farrugia was awarded the Louis Naudi Award for academic excellence by the Foundation for Human Resources Development.
Ms Farrugia obtained a distinction in her dissertation of the Masters Degree of the University of Leicester’s Centre for Labour Market Studies and had the highest overall average in assignments among all the Masters graduates.
Thirty local students recently graduated in one of the HR programmes offered by the university, of which 11 were Masters and eight were BSc graduates.
A further 22 students were awarded certificates for successfully completing the course of the first intake of the FHRD HR competency certificate programme.
The certificates were presented by foundation president Annika Galea and Nalita James from the university centre.
