St Benedict’s College Boys Secondary School, Kirkop, recently held its Celebration Day, during which prizes were awarded to students for their academic achievements and commitment in extracurricular activities throughout the year.

The evening also served to showcase the students’ many skills and talents through various stage performances. These included a play set in Ancient Greece, entitled Logħba, written by Ray Muscat on the theme of communication through the ages, a fusion of modern dance, hip-hop and breakdance, and a gymnastics display to the tune of the Olympics 2012 song Flame.

The evening ended with a bang as a group of students sang Celebration by the Kool and the Gang accompanied by an energetic choreography dance.
