Singer Emanuel Balzan, known as Tristan B was this morning jailed for two-and-a-half years after he admitted to defrauding six people and two companies - RTS Ltd and Simsal Properties Ltd out of thousands of euros.

He refused to be represented by a lawyer.

In January, he was jailed for three-and-a-half years after he admitted to defrauding businessman Andrew Abela of some €9.000.

He was already in prison serving another nine month term for fraud.
