The trees were planted during an event marking the environmental Nature Trust’s 50th anniversary. Vandals also broke into a storeroom and stole tools, pipes and wheelbarrows.

Two months ago, vandals struck at the Wied Għollieqa Nature Reserve, spraying graffiti on restored rubble walls.
