A man has been hospitalised and a woman was slightly injured in a fight in Ponsomby Street, Gzira this morning. Their car was damaged.

Sources said the fight broke up after the couple refused to pay a mechanic for work carried out on their car because they were not happy with it.

On their way to the police, some people blocked their way and a fight ensued. Bottles and an iron bar were hurled during the brawl.
