A wine-tasting competition in aid of charity will be held next Sunday.
Participants will each taste seven different wines and score them on colour, nose and palate. A panel of renowned judges will relay their own verdicts on the wines and the team closest to the experts’ scores will be declared the winner.
This is also an opportunity for the less knowledgeable to learn more about wine from Roger Aquilina.
Proceeds will go towards Faces, a registered voluntary organisation currently running projects in Kenya, Peru and Tanzania, providing housing and education to orphaned children, financial support to poor families and support to health services.
The event will take place at the Royal Malta Yacht Club in Ta’ Xbiex from 6 p.m. Participation fee is €10 per person. For bookings, e-mail claude@facescharity.org.
