Malta’s permanent representative in Brussels Richard Cachia Caruana yesterday said he would be filing a libel suit against Labour MP Evarist Bartolo.

Mr Cachia Caruana accused Mr Bartolo of resorting to “blatant lies” when speaking about him during a programme on the Labour media.
