After four successful editions, the annual beach party that kicks off the Maltese summer is back at (Little) Armier Beach next Sunday.
This year’s edition will be headlined by Brighton-based Tim Mason, who is signed to Swedish House Mafia superstar Steve Angello’s Size Records.
After The Moment had effectively dominated dancefloors all around the world, supported by some of the world’s top DJs – from David Guetta and Tiesto to Erick Morillo, Laidback Luke, Dirty South and Calvin Harris – label boss Angello announced that the track was, in fact, the first instalment from Mason, a new artist he’d signed to his record label, Size Records.
It’s not unusual to hear roars and screams from audiences wherever Mason’s remixes – among them Moby’s After, David Guetta’s Where Dem Girls At, Lucid’s I Can’t Help Myself and other hits from the likes of Nadia Ali, Alex Kenji and Starkillers, Zedd and Timbaland.
The latest addition to Mason’s remix catalogue is one that underlines his versatility when he lends his trademark beats and rolling riffs to the classic Red Hot Chilli Peppers hit track Otherside.
Mason’s future is looking more than peachy, with his second single Anima causing hot conversation on blogs, forums and afterparties alike and performances all over the world lined up as well as more releases and remixes in the pipeline.
Apart from Mason, the line-up for the main stage also includes Carl Bee, Daniel Blade, Luc Adams b2b Ziggy, Clay C, Carl Lautier, Conrad SK, Brando and special guests Tenishia. The Underground VIP arena will be hosted by Ruby and Friends, with the line-up also featuring Duncan F, Miss Roberta, Bengy vs Mato, Claytonic, Chris Camillle and Andy Miller.
