The events will include a hill climb open to vintage cars on October 11 and the  Concours d’Elegance which will be held at the Cathedral Square in Mdina on October 12.

Free practice will take place around the 2.2km 'circuit' below the Mdina bastions on the morning of Saturday October 13 with the qualifying session in the afternoon.

Some 80 cars are expected to take part in the races of Sunday, October 14, including a large number which will be brought to Malta for the purpose.  Each group will have two runs in the morning, and two in the afternoon, along with demonstration runs for classic motorbikes and supercars.

Today's launch was attended by Tourism Minister Mario de Marco and Parliamentary Secretary Clyde Puli, who is responsible for sports.
