John Board, Dean of Henley Business School at the University of Reading, is to launch the programmes of the ICMA Centre, the world-renowned centre of academic and executive education for financial markets, in Malta with an event hosted by local representative Henley Business School (Malta).
Prof. Board will participate in one-day workshops themed ‘Basel III: issues, consequences and implementation’ on May 31, and ‘strategic business management in financial institutions’ on June 1, both of which will be led by ICMA Centre financial trainer and consultant Keith Checkley
Prof. Board was until recently director of the ICMA Centre at the University of Reading, and was previously part of the Faculty at the London School of Economics. He is a specialist in the organisation and regulation of financial markets and his latest research has been widely quoted. His area of interest is the Islamic market and he was recently engaged on a major project on Islamic market developments.
Maltese Henley students and alumni will be invited another lecture by Prof. Board on the present state of the financial market.
