Probation for Scottish woman who injured officer
A 39-year-old Scottish woman was this morning put on probation for three years after she pleaded guilty to resisting and threatening a police officer and slightly injuring another in Victoria on May 4.

I can understand why some Maltese think foreigners living here are rude.... I'm a foreigner also and have lived here for 9 years and i can honestly say sometimes i'm embarrassed the way they speak to people. As for this person well.... NO COMMENT !!!!!

True, and i am maltese who lived in the UK and even there a lot of locals were rude to me just couse i was a forigner, so it seems a lot of people from the UK are rude to people of different nationality wherever they are living.

Probation for three years is fine but she should have also been sent to the cooler for at least a week. She seems to like throwing punches around ...

Good follow-up Mario.
This person will not take long to be in breach of the probation period , seeing what record she has. There is no room for repeated offenders to be allowed public access, neither in Scotland nor in Gozo, unless locked up to learn a lesson.

Another suspended sentence for a repeat offender - what does this acheive, how does this force a change in behaviour?

She should either be locked up or deported................... as her marauding behaviour is appalling!

Is this the same person who punched the Ryanair ground attendant last December?

Seems like it Mr Brincat! I propose a new law should be introduced, whereas a foreigner living here will be deported after committing his/her second crime, no matter what country he/she came from, it being african, european or whatever.

Well spotted it seems! It certainly is the same name and similar unacceptable violent conduct. She should have been dealt with more severely and given a one way ticket home.

@P Attard "I propose a new law should be introduced, whereas a foreigner living here will be deported after committing his/her second crime, no matter what country he/she came from, it being african, european or whatever. " - Malta could only do that by leaving the EU, with regard to EU citizens

Leaving the EU Mark Thorogood ---- the sooner the better.
