Obituary
APAP. On May 2, at Gozo General Hospital, MARIA CARMELA of Rabat, Gozo, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Georgina and her husband Michael, Franco and his wife Mary, Agnes and her husband Angelo, Mariella and her husband Michael, Colin and his wife Sandra, her brothers Toni, Manuel and Tarcisio and her sisters Jane and Grace, and their families, her grandchildren Joseph, Vanessa, Nicholas, Nicholine, Nicolette, Michael, Kurt, Nicole, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 4.30 p.m. for St George’s Basilica, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5 p.m., followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Cemetery, Rabat. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
AQUILINA. On May 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, widow of John, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Antoine and his wife Doreen, Carmen and her husband Martin, Joseph John and his wife Rosanne, Louis and his wife Carmen, Miriam and her husband Paul, her sister Serah and her husband Noel, her brother Salvinu and his wife Polly, her sister-in-law Connie, her grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GAUCI HAMPTON. On May 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED of Valletta, aged 72, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Vincenza, his children Joanne and her husband Alfred, Nathalie and her partner Lorry and David and his wife Daniela, his grandchildren JeanPaul, Jacob, Ayrton, Jeremy and Owen, his in-laws, their respective spouses and families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Mary of Jesus (Ta’ Ġieżu) church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. PIZZUTO. On May 3, at her residence, EMMA, née Darmenia Grech, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mark, Marika, Martin, Marcelle and Margot and their respective families, her beloved grandchildren Gregory and Roxanne, her sisters Rose Distefano and Therese Darmenia Grech, her nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
