Four Birkirkara players have been suspended for one match.

Rowen Muscat and Nikola Vukanac have come in for punishment after both were dismissed in Birkirkara's 2-0 win over Hibs last weekend while Shawn Bajada and Angus Buhagiar have been banned after both collected their fourth yellow card in the same match.

With Brazilian defender Rodrigo Pereira still to complete his two-match suspension, Birkirkara coach Paul Zammit will be without five important players for Sunday's Premier League match against Sliema Wanderers at the National Stadium.
