• Form 4 students and administrators of Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun, will be washing cars today in Ta’ Qali from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., in aid of the Community Chest Fund. There will also be music, food, drinks and a bouncy castle.

• The Die Cast and Scale Model Society will be holding a one-day exhibition today at the Dolmen Resort Hotel, Buġibba. The exhibition is open to the public from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Entrance is free.

• A charity car boot sale and car wash, organised by Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa, will take place today in the car park next to the Presidential Palace at San Anton. Proceeds will be donated to Beyond the Moon, an international non-profit charitableassociation that helps seriously illchildren.

• A bazaar will be held at Centru Antida, Tarxien Road, every Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon in aid of the St Jeanne Antide Foundation.

• Bernadine Scicluna, assistant curator of the Fine Arts Museum, will deliver the penultimate lecture in the ‘Rediscovery of the Grand Master’s Palace’ series tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Palace, Valletta. The lecture is entitled ‘Some paintings at the Palace: a glimpse’.

• A children’s fun day organised by Curtain Raiser will take place on Tuesday (public holiday) at Melita Gardens Salina Park, Qawra, from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The Mission Fund will be holding a clearance sale from Wednesday to Friday at 27, St Margaret Street, Mosta, from 9.am. to 12.30 p.m.

• A bazaar will be held at 49 Cathedral Street, Sliema, next door to Stella Maris parish centre, from Wednesday to Saturday from 9.30 a.m. onwards

• Italian flower arranger Patrizia Di Braida will deliver a lecture and demonstrate her craft on Thursday at the Sea Shells Resort at the Suncrest Hotel, Qawra, at 7 p.m.

• A 30-hour walk will take place from next Sunday to the following day to raise money for The Malta Community Chest Fund. Everyone is invited to donate €5 and join the walk for any amount of time and distance.

The walk is set to start at 9 a.m. next Sunday at the Institute of Tourism Studies in St Julian’s and will end at the same location at 3 p.m. the next day. • Sr Paola Arosio, an Italian nun, will be leading sessions on St Jeanne Antide, foundress of the Sisters of Charity, on May 14, 16, 17 and 19 at the Sisters of Charity, 152, Sisters Street, Tarxien.

The first three sessions will take place from 5 to 7.30 p.m. and the final session will be from 4 to 6 p.m. The public is invited. Sessions will be held in Italian.

• The Past Pupils Association of St Joseph School, Blata l-Bajda and Valletta will be holding its annual Crowning of Our Lady on May 16 at 7 p.m. at the school chapel.

Mass and the crowning will be followed by light refreshments in the chapel yard.
