Almost €1,000 was collected for Inspire at The Plaza shopping centre in Sliema earlier this month.

The Plaza arranged for two young girls to walk around Sliema and hand out treats while collecting donations for Inspire, which assists over 1,000 people with learning and physical disabilities.

Donation tins were also placed around The Plaza.

A total of €858 was collected in only a couple of hours from donations, while Inspire raised a further €112 from a figolli stand inside the shopping centre, to bring the final total to €970.
