Marty Rivers last featured in these pages in connection with his single Midnight Sky’s successful climb to the international Hotdisc and Ramgatie charts, which was quite a considerable feat.

To further push the point home that the Maltese country artist’s star remains firmly in the ascendant, the past few weeks have brought him even greater success, with not one, but three of his songs now topping three different music charts. Midnight Sky has made it to the #1 spot of the European Country Top 100, while Mama You’re The Lady, written by Rivers and Joe Spiteri as a tribute to mothers everywhere, made it to the top spot of the International Country Top 40 chart.

Rivers’ song The Power Of Prayer, released through Tennessee label Glory Train Records, has clinched the #1 spot on the International Country Gospel Charts as well as getting to #6 on the US Country Gospel Charts.

And if all this wasn’t enough, Rivers is currently also the fifth most played country music artist internationally in the Ramgatie Top 200.

Rivers latest album, Midnight Sky, was released last year, receiving rave reviews. He was awarded the International Achievement Award at the 2011 Go Malta Music Awards.
