Education Minister Dolores Cristina is to sue Joseph Muscat for libel after the Opposition leader accused her of nepotism this morning.

Dr Muscat made claims about a post given to the minister's son-in-law and also blamed the minister's own son for the 'mess' which led the EU to withhold education funds, while claiming that somebody else was made the scapegoat.

The government said the allegations by Dr Muscat were unfounded. Another two libel cases have already been filed against the Labour media over allegations about the minister's son.
