An open-air theatrical performance was recently held at the Junior College, Msida, by drama students from the college and the Italian students from Liceo Pietro Gobetti in Florence, Italy.

The activity formed part of a student exchange activity, involving the Drama Group and organised by the Junior College Eurocentre. The Maltese students had earliervisited Florence where they performed in A Chekhov Quartet, based on a set of scenes from plays by Russian author Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, at the Teatrodell’Affratellamento.

The Italian and Maltese students also took part in workshops on drama led by artistic director Manu Lalli and in scenography led by Niccolo Franchi, from the theatrical company Venti Lucenti.
