Over 100 people with disability attended the recent launch of the Me2! cooperative, which hopes to create more awareness among employers and to provide more work opportunities for people with disability. The cooperative will be run by people with disability.

Me2! is the result of a project co-financed by the European Social Fund and coordinated since 2009 by Aġenzija Sapport, in collaboration with the Employment and Training Corporation and the National Commission for People with Disability.

Present for the launch were Foundation for Social Welfare Services CEO Sina Bugeja, Stephen Vella, Me2! project leader, Marcel Pisani, COO of Aġenzija Sapport, and Rolan Micallef Attard, the cooperative’s trainer.

The main aim of the project is to help people with disability develop their skills and improve their work prospects. For more information, visit www.sapport.gov.mt.
