I read somewhere that the phallic “artistic” construction on the Luqa roundabout was described as a “monument”.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, the word monument is defined as “anything designed or serving to commemorate a notable person or event”.

Now what does this embarrassing construction commemorate? Had it been put up in front of St Vincent de Paul Home, then it would have made some sense!
