Triathlon Malta will be represented at the European Triathlon Union’s Championships this week in Eilat, Israel, by two of its elite athletes – Keith Galea, current duathlon champion, and Danica Bonello Spiteri, the triathlon and duathlon women’s no.1.

Galea and Bonello Spiteri will be taking part in their respective categories in the Olympic distance race tomorrow.

The distance covered in this course will be a 1,500m swim, a 20-kilometre cycle and a 10-kilometre run around the Kings City park.

“We are proud to have these two experienced athletes to represent us at the championships,” Cyprian Dalli, Malta Triathlon president, said.

“We are confident they will give their all for a memorable showing.”
