The cruise ship MSC Splendida anchored in Marsaxlokk Bay this afternoon since strong winds made entering Grand Harbour problematic.

The ship arrived off Malta some hours behind schedule, because of the weather, and anchored in Marsaxlokk Bay, where its boats were used to embark and disembark Maltese passengers who were starting or ending their cruise.

No land tours were held for the other passengers however.

Another cruise ship, the Costa Magica, did enter Grand Harbour in the morning.
