Nadur Primary School celebrated children’s success and diversity during the annual Celebration Day held recently at the Dr Joe Debono assembly hall.

As part of the celebration, a new artistic project by an Ekoskola committee volunteer and artist Charlie Camilleri and Year 5students was inaugurated by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono.

The work of art, blessed by Nadur archpriest Mgr Jimmy Xerri, consists of a cross surrounded by 12 children, a symbol of unity.

The work was designed by Joe Camilleri, while Mr Portelli sculpted the cross in solid oak.
