No one can argue that for a business to remain relevant in a changing society and global business environment, leadership must have the drive to change its operating systems to satisify customer demand.

I have made several suggestions to Bank of Valletta in relation to its internet banking facility but it seems that there is resistance to change.

I would like to see these changes made as soon as possible:

1. The printing of credit advice notices is made through one click, as the current system takes about 10 clicks to undertake this simple function;

2. The credit card statements available through the internet banking should be reformed to a full A4 sheet without having the paying-in slips which in today’s business environment is superflous and not environment friendly;

3. Internet banking facilities should be free from all advertising (internal and external).
