After four weeks of live performances, the final of the Maltese edition of the Hard Rock Rising competition ended on March 29, with rock band Colourblind winning the chance to win a place on the bill at this year’s edition of the prestigious Hard Rock Calling Festival. Colourblind’s quest to live out their dream depends on the support the band receives via public voting.

The 85 winners from all over the world will be narrowed down to the top 10 bands via fan voting on Hard Rock Facebook pages worldwide.

As from tomorrow at 4 p.m., fans can vote and download tracks from Hard Rock Malta’s Facebook page.

Once the top 10 bands are chosen, a panel of celebrity judges and music industry professionals will select the top three winners.

The winner will fly to London for the ultimate rock star treatment, including a spot on the bill at Hard Rock Calling 2012. Second and third prize winners will receive US$5,000 (€3,800) and US$2,500 (€1,900) respectively, as well as promotion.
