Four years ago I did a henna tattoo and I didn’t know that I was allergic to it. It got swollen and it took a few days before my skin was back to normal.

I used to dye my hair and some kind of skin reaction used to happen every time but I never went to a skin doctor. Once, I even ended up with patches in my hair after three years of dyeing it.

Last year, my face got swollen and my windpipe was closing and I had to go to the clinic.

The first doctor that saw me failed to diagnose what I was suffering from, so a nurse left me there to see another doctor and the doctor decided to send me to Boffa Hospital, where I was diagnosed with PPD allergy caused by henna tattoo.

Now I am allergic to hair dye, bee stings and a lot of other things. No one tells you the truth about this reaction. It can even lead to death.
