Libya-Italy agree joint action against immigration

Italy and Libya have signed an agreement to stop immigrants leaving Libya without documentation.

The agreement was signed in Tripoli after talks between the home affairs ministers of the two countries.

Italy also agreed to train Libyan police.

The two ministers said at a press conference at the Corinthia Tripoli that the agreement will combat illegal immigration.

The two countries will work with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to encourage immigrants to return to their countries of origin.

@ Martin Cassar
You raise some very valid points sir,,well written, researched.
Europe, those in power, saying multiculturalism has failed,I disagree.Multiculturalism,on the whole has been successful. With too many persons of different nationalities, religions to mention, now residing in Britain,Europe, they have integrated into the western way of life
What those in power fail to say,or are afraid to,the problem lies with Islam,Muslims, who refuse to integrate
Please do not give me the "Moderate Muslim"scenario
A few cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed,,a teacher calls a teddy bear Mohammed, world wide Muslim protest, condemnation,so called Radicals,Moderates alike took to the street to voice their concern
Planes flown into buildings, trains buses blown up,over 16,000,Muslim terrorist attacks since 9/11.no Muslim protest,no Muslim condemnation
Their silence is deafening,by their silence, these so called "Moderate Muslims" can only be seen to be condoning, this never ending list of Islamic terrorism, committed on what seems to be a daily basis

The vast majority of prewar Germans were not Nazis
Same as the vast majority of Muslims are not radical, terrorists
But like prewar Germany,by their silence, their refusal to "Stand up and be counted"for want of a better way of putting the situation,,the minority of Nazis, owned the majority of non Nazi Germans..the rest is history
The same with these so called "Moderates"through fear, intimidation, the minority of Radicals, will own the majority of Moderates
The old saying"Evil will prevail, when good men do nothing"

First of all, the reason that Europe will not have enough money to pay pensions is because it has spent all its resources on freeloading immigrants and extra costs in policing them, which generation after generation still refuse to integrate, but live in Sharia areas (according to French Government reports there are at least 761 such zones where true Frenchmen and Police dare not enter).

Secondly, the far-right parties always use the excuse of the immigrant problem to get themselves elected, but once in power they just clam down on free speech for all and strengthen the police state but leave the immigration problem to grow and fester. Indeed, most of the governments in power right now in Europe are of the Right persuasion and they go out of their way to appease them (because they fear the violence or because they are beholding to the oil-rich countries for their energy needs, maybe both). In other words, the far-Right will use Islam to dissolve democracy.

Here is an excerpt from the book "Eurabia" outlining part of the plan hatched by European leaders with the Muslim world.

"An alliance between the European Community and the Arab world - operative at all levels of the European Community, regionally and internationally, and linked with the European Common Foreign and Security Policy. And through the “Mediterranean Partnership”, to set up a vast Euro-Arab demographic, political, economic and cultural zone. In this way, with multiculturalism and immigration, Islam and Arab culture could be introduced as a force toward the Islamization on the European continent. Europe would thereby - through the combined effects of demographics, terrorist pressure and oil - become a continent, vassal of world Islam.
For Muslim leaders, multiculturalism in Europe was a fundamental requirement in the Euro-Arab agreements governing immigration, for it allows Muslim immigrants to not integrate and to protect them "from the aberrations, the mores and thinking of non-Muslims" - as called for by Mohammed al-Tohami at the second Islamic Conference, at Lahore in February 1974. Multiculturalism encourages the coexistence of parallel communities that will never integrate, thus replicating the Ottoman millets or the conditions of Islamic colonization after its conquest of non-Muslim peoples. Multiculturalism and nationalism are polar concepts. The modern fight against European nationalisms within the inter-European scenes - for the integration of Europe - allowed millions of Muslim immigrants to import their culture to Europe and establish it on an equal footing, using two fundamental arguments: the Andalusian myth and an Islamic origin of European culture."

And thirdly, what has Europe got to do with Zionist?. As one call plainly see from the above excerpt, the EU is not exactly a fan of Israel but panders to those make believe creation, the "Palestinian". Show me just one artefacts that these fabled Palestinians left behind or the ruins of their ancient buildings or give me the name of just one of their ancient kings? That is right, you cannot because there is no such thing as the Palestinian people, it is just made up, they are just plain Arabs from the area. And you know what, when Israel was created by the British out of the Ottoman Empire, they carved out a chunk of bigger land for all the Arabs called Jordan. But of course they were not happy with that and for political reasons were made to stay in camps by their leadership and used as pawns in the effort to remove the only non-Muslim no-Arab and democratic state in the area.

So to say that the "Palestinians" have no homeland is a lie. But more telling that the fable of a Palestinian nation comes right from the horse's mouth:

"This statement was made to a Dutch newspaper in 1977 by the leader of the al-Sa'iqa Organization and member of the PLO leadership Zahir Muhsein (PLO)

"The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.

In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism for tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

@ Charles Grixti.

' However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."'

How will you do this, by killing the Palestinians to satisfy a terrorist god (read the text above please ? and who are you please?

'"However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."'

This was said in an interview by the leader of the al-Sa'iqa Organization and member of the PLO leadership Zahir Muhsein (PLO) and NOT by me. In other words, they are confirming that the whole Palestinian nation thing is a ploy to get all of the land i.e. ancient Palestine and Judea and then finally join it up with JORDAN.

Here we have a serious issue. The name of Palestine is mentioned several times in the Bible. Shall know credit what you are saying or discredit the Bible please?

Well let us hope the same arrangement between Gaddafi and Berlusconi will apply. Remember that year we had virtually no illegal immigrants and Lampedusa was also free of illegals. As soon as Gaddafi was removed from power and killed the illegal invasion started once more. So Gaddafi was not sending the illegals to Europe or keeping them in cages. The UNHCR is responsible for this disaster my friend, you and I are tax payers to make do for this illegal invasion. It is what I call ROUGH JUSTICE!!!!!

Nice letter, but as you know this is an exercise in futility. There are parts of England now, such as Bradford, (where George Galloway has won a seat in Parliament by pandering to the Muslim vote), where you may as well be in Bangladesh.
Multiculturalism is in the U.K. to stay, and these people will want more 'rights' as ethnic minorities than the local English and Scots etc. themselves.

I'm afraid the cat is well and truly out of the bag, now, Graham.

@Tony
I was born,lived all my life,between Leeds,Bradford
Saw first hand the once great industrial town of Bradford, slowly become the Islamic,Muslim capital of Britain.
Many areas,if your not Asian,Muslim,,,enter at your own risk.
Now Galloway elected ,,, the final nail in the coffin,of this once great city,,,,

If the UNHCR and the JRS really have the plight of migrants at heart, they should try to open offices in Libya and process refugees from there. Better than let them die at sea or arrive in Europe to be kept in detention centres. And at least only people who are really in need get to cross into Europe.

Charles W. Sammut

The solution is not to 'process refugees' but to get at the root of the problem and if these people are incapable or running their country, get someone to run it for them until they get the hang of it. Even if you call that 'colonisation', it is far better than the present state of affairs.

Shifting the problem to Europe will only create further problems in Europe. And why Europe? Why not China or Japan or Russia or Saudi Arabia?

I don't think the Libyans would be asking migrants "Where you off to? Italy or Malta?" So this is a step forward for Malta as well. Let's just hope the Libyans can police their shores effectively
