Libya-Italy agree joint action against immigration
Italy and Libya have signed an agreement to stop immigrants leaving Libya without documentation.
The agreement was signed in Tripoli after talks between the home affairs ministers of the two countries.
Italy also agreed to train Libyan police.
The two ministers said at a press conference at the Corinthia Tripoli that the agreement will combat illegal immigration.
The two countries will work with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to encourage immigrants to return to their countries of origin.

@ Graham Holme.
I would first like to thank you for the worth reading letter posted downhere.
Straight to the point, you and many others are concerned about Muslims presence in Europe…..right?
Muslims in Europe comes in two categories either legal immigrants or illegal immigrants. The formers constitutes a minor community while the latter they do not have the right to vote. That means Muslim Immigrants in Europe they didn’t vote to bring Mr. Cameron to 10 Downing Street in London, neither did they vote to install Mr. Sarkozy at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
Immigration is part of, and goes hand in hand with globalization. No one has the power to undo this fact, this of course include all far-right politicians that expand fearing of the immigrants and then selling themselves as the best persons to handle them, this however has been an effective way for Italian politicians, French politicians, Dutch politicians …etc f to mobilize voters.
All those hunger-of power politicians are ignoring the fact that the average birth rate in the Europe is down to about 1.5 children per woman. This coupled with economic troubles we are facing will make Europe, and within short time looks more like a poor old-people home. Eventually Europe will not be immigrants’ magnet. This is raising fears among EU governments they will not be able to finance pensions systems for ageing European population. Therefore, man power must be imported to collect taxes for future pensioners.
If today we have a black man in the White Houses, most probably within few decades we will see an Indian, Pakistani or an Arab ruling Buckingham palace! And please take my word for this, no religion is compliable with Europe (just in case you feel that the Cross is facing serious threat its because the RRC no longer offers the spiritual fitness that Christians want and Islam is there to fill the gap).
I don’t think if a person is born in a poor family that lack supportive means of living decently will quit his family and go to live with next door family because they are rich family.
Why do Muslims come to Europe? To convert Europe? To take jobs? To bankrupt Europe?
Well, During the past century the west (Europe and USA) have done two grave mistakes and created the conditions for immigrations and what’s called terrorism: first mistake was the mass deportation of the remnants of Hitler’s holocausts that had to go and replace the Palestinians under the imaginary of ‘promised land from god’ and in doing so they were following a Biblical text: 1 Samuel 15:3
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.'’
This is exactly what the Zionists have been doing for six decades.
Now whom would you blame for any Palestinian or Iraqi immigrants in Europe? Give me the country of origin of each Muslim immigrant and we will objectively source out the reasons for his/her presence in Europe.
During the past two or three decades, under the pretext of either selling ‘toxic’ democracy or promoting human rights [OR SELLING MORE WESTERN MANFCATRED WEAPONS AND TO SECURE ENERGY RESOURCE?] we have been sending troops to Muslims lands and the result of this we get more Muslims inside Christian Europe.
We have exported the Zionists that are occupying the Palestinians lands for six decades have been killing and terrorizing the innocents Palestinian kids. What did we do we do to end to end the Palestinian saga? Almost nothing. On the contrary we keep on financially supporting and politically immuring the illegal occupation of the Zionists.
Our democratically elected politicians are responsible brining the Muslim immigrants into Europe and have created the condition for anger and hater age toward Muslim immigrants inside Europe I am afraid. This has been done by all our politicians that supported dictators in Muslim countries …simply to secure fuel sources and to protect the Zionists illegal occupation.
This puts further onus on all of us, and in my opinion we cannot turn a blind eye to our neighbors struggling at the cordon for democracy in rich countries such as Libya or Iraq and close our eyes for people looking for freedom and democracy in Palestine and Syria.
What makes me sad is this, our politicians are ignoring serious problems threaten our daily bread and instead they are focusing on whether Muslim women wear Burka or go commando!

You raise some very valid points sir,,well written, researched.
Europe, those in power, saying multiculturalism has failed,I disagree.Multiculturalism,on the whole has been successful. With too many persons of different nationalities, religions to mention, now residing in Britain,Europe, they have integrated into the western way of life
What those in power fail to say,or are afraid to,the problem lies with Islam,Muslims, who refuse to integrate
Please do not give me the "Moderate Muslim"scenario
A few cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed,,a teacher calls a teddy bear Mohammed, world wide Muslim protest, condemnation,so called Radicals,Moderates alike took to the street to voice their concern
Planes flown into buildings, trains buses blown up,over 16,000,Muslim terrorist attacks since 9/11.no Muslim protest,no Muslim condemnation
Their silence is deafening,by their silence, these so called "Moderate Muslims" can only be seen to be condoning, this never ending list of Islamic terrorism, committed on what seems to be a daily basis

The vast majority of prewar Germans were not Nazis
Same as the vast majority of Muslims are not radical, terrorists
But like prewar Germany,by their silence, their refusal to "Stand up and be counted"for want of a better way of putting the situation,,the minority of Nazis, owned the majority of non Nazi Germans..the rest is history
The same with these so called "Moderates"through fear, intimidation, the minority of Radicals, will own the majority of Moderates
The old saying"Evil will prevail, when good men do nothing"

First of all, the reason that Europe will not have enough money to pay pensions is because it has spent all its resources on freeloading immigrants and extra costs in policing them, which generation after generation still refuse to integrate, but live in Sharia areas (according to French Government reports there are at least 761 such zones where true Frenchmen and Police dare not enter).
Secondly, the far-right parties always use the excuse of the immigrant problem to get themselves elected, but once in power they just clam down on free speech for all and strengthen the police state but leave the immigration problem to grow and fester. Indeed, most of the governments in power right now in Europe are of the Right persuasion and they go out of their way to appease them (because they fear the violence or because they are beholding to the oil-rich countries for their energy needs, maybe both). In other words, the far-Right will use Islam to dissolve democracy.
Here is an excerpt from the book "Eurabia" outlining part of the plan hatched by European leaders with the Muslim world.
"An alliance between the European Community and the Arab world - operative at all levels of the European Community, regionally and internationally, and linked with the European Common Foreign and Security Policy. And through the “Mediterranean Partnership”, to set up a vast Euro-Arab demographic, political, economic and cultural zone. In this way, with multiculturalism and immigration, Islam and Arab culture could be introduced as a force toward the Islamization on the European continent. Europe would thereby - through the combined effects of demographics, terrorist pressure and oil - become a continent, vassal of world Islam.
For Muslim leaders, multiculturalism in Europe was a fundamental requirement in the Euro-Arab agreements governing immigration, for it allows Muslim immigrants to not integrate and to protect them "from the aberrations, the mores and thinking of non-Muslims" - as called for by Mohammed al-Tohami at the second Islamic Conference, at Lahore in February 1974. Multiculturalism encourages the coexistence of parallel communities that will never integrate, thus replicating the Ottoman millets or the conditions of Islamic colonization after its conquest of non-Muslim peoples. Multiculturalism and nationalism are polar concepts. The modern fight against European nationalisms within the inter-European scenes - for the integration of Europe - allowed millions of Muslim immigrants to import their culture to Europe and establish it on an equal footing, using two fundamental arguments: the Andalusian myth and an Islamic origin of European culture."
And thirdly, what has Europe got to do with Zionist?. As one call plainly see from the above excerpt, the EU is not exactly a fan of Israel but panders to those make believe creation, the "Palestinian". Show me just one artefacts that these fabled Palestinians left behind or the ruins of their ancient buildings or give me the name of just one of their ancient kings? That is right, you cannot because there is no such thing as the Palestinian people, it is just made up, they are just plain Arabs from the area. And you know what, when Israel was created by the British out of the Ottoman Empire, they carved out a chunk of bigger land for all the Arabs called Jordan. But of course they were not happy with that and for political reasons were made to stay in camps by their leadership and used as pawns in the effort to remove the only non-Muslim no-Arab and democratic state in the area.
So to say that the "Palestinians" have no homeland is a lie. But more telling that the fable of a Palestinian nation comes right from the horse's mouth:
"This statement was made to a Dutch newspaper in 1977 by the leader of the al-Sa'iqa Organization and member of the PLO leadership Zahir Muhsein (PLO)
"The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.
In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct 'Palestinian people' to oppose Zionism for tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa. While as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

Why isn't the loophole closed. The EU should be doing it's duty to sign an agreement to return all illegal migrants who leave Libya. What we have then is that we will be flooded by illegal migrants if Italy returns them and Malta doesn't. At least Italy is looking after it's national interest. I am very surprised how our Maltese Government does nothing to address this issue. Italy is always on the forefront of addressing ths issue. And our Gonzi is just sleeping away because he probably thinks this issue is beneath him. Gonzi wake up and do your job on this issue.

Well let us hope the same arrangement between Gaddafi and Berlusconi will apply. Remember that year we had virtually no illegal immigrants and Lampedusa was also free of illegals. As soon as Gaddafi was removed from power and killed the illegal invasion started once more. So Gaddafi was not sending the illegals to Europe or keeping them in cages. The UNHCR is responsible for this disaster my friend, you and I are tax payers to make do for this illegal invasion. It is what I call ROUGH JUSTICE!!!!!

This is great news for ultimately we are indirect beneficiaries of this Italo-Libyan agreement . The reality is that being such a small nation we often depend on the goodwill of our larger neighbours. Our government should declare support for this agreement and thank the signatories whilst making it clear that we will always defend our national interests .

A letter sent to to the powers that be,Britain,,,says it all
PLEASE TAKE 5 MINUTES AND READ THIS
Its one of the best letters I have read for a long time, it puts it ALL into perspective.
PLEASE PASS IT ON to everyone you can, its time BOTH parties stood up and listened,
This is our country and its being destroyed.
Subject: The silent majority
To David Cameron (Prime Minister) & Ed Milliband (Leader of the Opposition) ...
You BOTH Worry me ! ( In fact both of your Political parties worry the hell out of me !!!)
Over the last three years, I find myself becoming more and more fearful of the pair of you, and between you, you are turning this country into a place that I no longer feel at home in, or feel a part of! I watch you in parliament, and no, not just the two of you, but every politician that I see, stand up in parliament sneering at each other, and acting like children !!! (..and if you were my children, I would be ashamed of you all ... What an example to set!)
Although you would like us all to believe that you are putting the needs of this country at the forefront, NEITHER of you are doing that, you seem more interested in "one-up-manship ", in scoring off each other, & denigrating each other, to the detriment of this country & its people !!!
It seems to be all about YOU as individuals, and not about what you can DO for this country !
It is fast becoming a place that I do not recognize, as the place I always thought, was the best place in the world to be !!!
But no longer !!!
You are not listening to the people of this country !!!
And here in Great Britain , your counterparts are afflicted with the same disease - is it endemic in all politicians ?
I am watching the deterioration of living standards in this country, (and according to you, on a world stage we are doing better than most countries ... REALLY ???) ... And yet the gap is widening between the "haves" and the "have-nots" . I see our homeless on the streets, our hospitals under-funded, and understaffed, our health system is an absolute mess and a disgrace ... And yet I see multi-millions of dollars being sent off shore, in aid to other countries, before attending to this country's needs !
I see the "selling off of water rights to foreign interests, WHY...?
Especially when you go to great lengths to tell us that water is a finite resource, & supposedly, we must ALL be careful with how we use it, so that we ensure we have it for the future ?
A Carbon Tax,( which you KNOW is just another tax ) which will make NO appreciable difference, to carbon emissions, AT ALL!
A tax, which in spite of all your arguments FOR it, you are doing alone, when other major countries will NOT & DO NOT embrace it, or believe in it !
All that it will do for this country is put working families and small businesses behind the eight ball, .....what planet are you on, if you think that your few hundred pounds a year, will make even a scrap of difference to the effect of the carbon tax on people ?Anyone can see the holes in that argument !!! Do you really think we are that dumb ???
Let's talk about Multiculturalism ......People have come here from other countries, for a better life, for more years than I have been alive ( I am 72 years old !) ......
Pre & Post war immigrants came for a better life, and settled in and became wonderful contributors to this country, ... all have contributed to the rich diversity of this country, and some descendants have even fought FOR this country, and they have become U.K.citizens and were glad to be ..and they had NO handouts from our Government either, ...they worked hard for everything!
I have never before had a problem with all, or any, race of immigrants coming here ...
......However , I DO NOW !!!
Please tell me why we have areas in towns and on large estates all over the country , where police do NOT, & will NOT go, for fear of their life ?
Please tell me why we can no longer have religion in schools, for fear of "OFFENDING" someone ? (The latest little gem is that they are not having, or being funded, for "chaplains " any more , but "Counsellors "?)
Please tell me why religious Christmas observances are no longer allowed in some schools for fear of OFFENDING someone ?
Please tell me HOW Christmas decorations in some stores might OFFEND someone ?
Please tell me why we have to have segregated days in some swimming centres, for fear of "OFFENDING" someone ?
Please tell me why we have some RADICAL clerics demanding Sharia Law in this country ... when if we were in THEIR country, this would NEVER be allowed ?
Please tell me why our laws need to be changed, so as not to OFFEND someone ?
Please tell me why we are fast becoming a MINORITY voice, in our own country, because of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ?
Please tell me WHY Britains cannot legally wear a face covering bike helmet into a bank ..and yet it is ok to wear a Burqa which covers the whole face ?
And please tell me WHY, when those people who want asylum here, can wreck our detention centres, and STILL be accepted here ?
What does that say, about just who and what are this government's priorities ?
The British people that I speak to have genuine concerns about becoming a second class minority in our own country, and the reasons for it, are some of the above, ..... Are you so blind that you cannot see this ?
And no , I am NOT racist !!!..(if I did not like Catholics or Protestants would I be considered racist ?) Of course not !
Why is it, that if we object to what is happening in our country ... we are immediately labelled RACIST, in an attempt to shut us up ?
We are fighting Radical Muslims, in Afghanistan & Iraq , are we not ?I hear you say, yes but the Muslims we have here are "Not like that " .. well how would we know ? ...do we hear ANY of them coming out & speaking AGAINST radicals ?? I haven't ...have you ???
Islam is not compatible with ANY of the values that we hold here in Britain ! .....Are not the experiences of France , and the Netherlands an example of that? Why do you think it would be any different here ? We even have a British born "radical ", whose message is that Britain WILL become a Muslim country, under Sharia Law, & that we had "better get used to it ".
Will both of you grow .... and start sticking up for this country and its people ???
We are the people who put you where you are, and PAY you to look after our interests ! ... And you are NOT doing that, by any stretch of the imagination !!!
I would appreciate an answer, from both of you, if only to convince me that once again, I am not talking to a brick wall !!!!!
In case it has escaped both of you ...I would like to remind you that, in the U.K. Government ... is FOR THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE, & BY THE PEOPLE ...
never forget that......because you sure have up till now !!!
Let us get this out to all – please keep forwarding and if you have people in the press or if you know Politicians – let them know we are dis-satisfied with their behaviour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE SEND THIS GREAT LETTER TO AS MANY PEOPLE IN THE U.K. AS YOU CAN, AND IF U HAVE CONTACTS OVERSEAS DO THE SAME?

Nice letter, but as you know this is an exercise in futility. There are parts of England now, such as Bradford, (where George Galloway has won a seat in Parliament by pandering to the Muslim vote), where you may as well be in Bangladesh.
Multiculturalism is in the U.K. to stay, and these people will want more 'rights' as ethnic minorities than the local English and Scots etc. themselves.
I'm afraid the cat is well and truly out of the bag, now, Graham.

The Libyans are not even in a state to police their own people, so don't expect much to result from this 'agreement'.
Besides we have the UNHCR, JRS, IOM and anybody whose existence depends on illegal immigration, doing their utmost to maintain a constant flow . . . . . . . . of tax free funds into their coffers.
A Galea
Apr 4th 2012, 10:12
If the UNHCR and the JRS really have the plight of migrants at heart, they should try to open offices in Libya and process refugees from there. Better than let them die at sea or arrive in Europe to be kept in detention centres. And at least only people who are really in need get to cross into Europe.
Charles W. Sammut
Apr 4th 2012, 10:36
The solution is not to 'process refugees' but to get at the root of the problem and if these people are incapable or running their country, get someone to run it for them until they get the hang of it. Even if you call that 'colonisation', it is far better than the present state of affairs.
Shifting the problem to Europe will only create further problems in Europe. And why Europe? Why not China or Japan or Russia or Saudi Arabia?
Tony Borg
Apr 4th 2012, 09:26
Most of the migrants have documents but they loose them on their way, or rather they throw them overboard.
So we must not accept them without documents !! like what happens to us if we present ourselves in another country without ID.
Same weight same measure.......i do not think this is racial discrimination no??!!

That's good news since it would mean less immigrants dying at sea. I hope that the Libyans will enforce it though
