Bus services in Cospicua will be disrupted tomorrow because of the closure of Bormla Wharf for urgent road works, Arriva said.

Route 2 will not be able to reach Café Riche and will operate via Triq San Gwann Ghuxa and Triq Allessandra, turning around at Dejqa to return to Valletta.

Route 3 will divert via Fgura, Vjal Kottonera, Triq Kunsill ta' L-Europa and Trriq San Dwardu to reach Café Riche where it will turn and follow its normal route to Kalkara and Xghajra. This will apply to the return trips to Valletta.

Route 124 will not serve Verdala and Cospicua but will operate directly to Café Riche via Triq San Dwardu and from there return to Marsaskala as normal.

Route 213 will not serve Senglea and Cospicua but divert via Fgura and Hompesch Gate  to reach Triq San Dwardu and Café Riche, from there it will serve Kalkara, Santa Rokku and then back by the same route to Paola and Mater Dei.

Route 1 from Senglea will not be unaffected.

Arriva said the late notification of the closure was regrettable and it would work with partners Transport Malta to ensure more notice is given of such major diversions
