Joe Cordina has put up an unusual display of statuettes representing episodes from the Passion at 3A Villambrosa Street (corner with St Joseph High Road), Ħamrun.

What is unusual about this display is that the statuettes are set in a crib-like structure of rustic stone, complete with trees and a spring of running water.

The clay figurines, made by Carmel Agius, are organised in a series of tableaux.

This Passion ‘crib’ is open daily from 5.30 to 8.30 p.m. On Maundy Thursday it will remain open till 10.30 p.m. and on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.
