In yesterday’s editorial, A Step Forward To Upgrade Retail Services, The Times said that “The recent government decision to allow retail outlets to open on Sundays and most public holidays is a significant step in putting new life in this traditional channel of delivering goods and services to consumers”.

In fact, trading is not allowed on Sunday, except on Easter Sunday, which has been the case for the past four years.

The error is regretted.
