National debt
It is a real pity that Joseph Muscat is worrying about our financial deficit because as yet he can do nothing about it. The time to worry is if the Labour Party comes to power and actually inherits this debt. My, what an inheritance!
Nothing new, of course, the PL always inherited a great deal of debt after the Nationalists fell from grace.

Would this 'deficit' be the excuse for the future belt tightening that MLP governments are famous for?
Remember the 'hofra' that they found in 1996? and how water and electricity rates shot up, even when oil prices were only 12 dollars a barrel?

He sure has to worry anyway you look at it . Being a Prime Minister of a country is no joke in this day and age - ask all the leaders of the world , but then you would'nt, would you ??

Dear Valerie do not worry Joseph would inhrerit an island far more better than the EDDie did in 1987.
The fact that Eddie had to find money for 8000 persons employed with the Government just before the election is enough to make one's hair rise.

And you did not mention the white elephant known as Kalaxlokk with all its employees and the debt-ridden Drydocks.
