Oscar winner Kate Winslet walked the red carpet yesterday at the re-launch of the 3D version of the film that made her a star.
She was joined by co-star Billy Zane and director James Cameron at the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, west London, for the premiere of Titanic in 3D.
The new Titanic release comes 15 years after the original film was a huge hit, pulling in billions at the box office and winning 11 Oscars.
Upset by Nazi Shampoo ad
Turkey’s Jewish community has protested over an advert that uses old film footage of Adolf Hitler to sell men’s shampoo.
It has Hitler appear to shout in a dubbed-over Turkish voice: “If you are not wearing women’s dress, you shouldn’t be using women’s shampoo either!”
The Chief Rabbi’s office said using the image was unacceptable and demanded a public apology from the advertising company.
Einstein’s brain on display
Albert Einstein’s brain is going on display for the first time in the UK – with that of an infamous murderer.
Following his death at the age of 76 in 1955, Einstein’s brain was divided into sections, two of which are going on show at the Wellcome Collection.
Brains: The Mind As Matter also features the brain of US suffragette Helen H Gardener, which she donated to science to disprove theories about gender.
The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs to June 17 at the Wellcome Collection in London.
Gaga in wax
Lady Gaga toasts her birthday with a cuppa and a cocktail.
But she had better not get too close to the candles on her birthday cake as this version of the chart star is a wax copy.
London attraction Madame Tussauds took its figure of the Born This Way singer to the Foundation Bar in Covent Garden to celebrate her birthday on March 28.
This year sees her turn 26.
